WARRANTY |
The warranty on the vehicle you purchase* is for 30 days from the date purchased or 3000 miles whichever comes first. With this warranty Hatcher’s Auto Sales will pay 100% of the repair bill on any covered repair. If you have a problem with your vehicle that is covered under this warranty then you need to bring the vehicle back to Hatcher’s Auto Sales and we will send the vehicle to our mechanics to do the repairs. If you take it upon yourself to have the vehicle repaired by someone else then you will pay 100% of the repair bill. The only way Hatcher’s Auto Sales will pay 100% of the repair bill is first of all it has to be a covered repair and the vehicle has to be brought to us for service. Hatcher’s Auto Sales will not be responsible for your transportation needs while your vehicle is being repaired nor is it in our control how long the repairs take. COVERED SYSTEMS ON THE VEHICLE WILL BE: 1.ENGINE- All internally Lubricated Parts including pistons, Piston rings and pins, crank shaft and main bearings, cam shaft and /or bearings, cam chain, gears and /or timing belt, rocker arms, shaft and bushings, connecting rods and bearings, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs guides and seats, valve push rods, hydraulic and solid lifters and followers, intake and exhaust manifold, oil pump, pick-up screen, eccentric shaft and main shaft, main shaft bearings and all other internally Lubricated Parts of the engine, cylinder heads, engine block and cylinder barrels. Seals and Gaskets: Cylinder head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets are covered components. All other seals and gaskets are covered only as a result of mechanical failure to a covered component. 2.TRANSMISSION- All internally Lubricated Parts contained within the transmission case, transfer case and/or torque converter case, including; lock-up converter, gears and shafts, bearings, bushings, bands, clutch plates, friction and steel drums, pump, servo unit, valve body and plate, governor, main shaft, shift forks, synchronizer drums and overdrive housing. (NOTE: clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, linkage, cables, shifter, electronic switches, solenoids and clutch slave cylinders are NOT covered components). 3. DRIVE AXLES- All internally Lubricated Parts within the drive axle housing including, drive axle housing, ring and pinion gears, spider gears, side gears, bearings, bushings, spacers, yokes, drive shafts, carrier bearings and universal joints. This warranty does not cover any electrical components on your vehicle or any other parts unless they are named above. WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER ABUSE OR NEGLECT. * This warranty is for passenger vehicles (cars, trucks, vans, SUV's) only, and does not cover motorcycles, scooters, boats, RV's etc. Extended service contracts are available up to 3 years or 36,000 miles for an additional fee. |
